“Evolved minds, invariably rise above the immediate tragedy”

JASCAP (JEET ASSOCIATION FOR SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS) was born out of a similar challenge when Satyajit, the only son of Mrs. Neera P Rao and Mr. Prabhakar Rao, succumbed to T-Cell Lymphoma, while in Denver, Colorado. This life changing loss became the foundation to discovering their ability to sublimate their grief in a meaningful way. And that is, helping patients and their caregivers, make an informed decision through access to ready, pertinent and relevant information on various cancers and its management. The ultimate solace was found in creating  information and demystifying cancer & its management through its publications – for the  community of patients and caregivers.

By making available booklets on various cancers in different Indian languages. JASCAP, eventually, became the only way for Ms. Neera Rao & Mr. Prabhakar Rao to continue living with Satyajit, and so Satyajit continues to live in the ‘purpose’ of JASCAP.
