Emergency medical services (EMS), also known as ambulance services is a way of helping patients that require an urgent medical response, providing out-of-hospital treatment and transport to a place of definitive care.
The field of oncology is rid with situations that call for such emergency services, too often. In response to this need, JASCAP initiated an ambulance service in January 2016. The objectives of this service are to transport cancer patients of Tata Memorial Hospital to Respite care, shelter homes, or place of terminal care.
So far, this initiative, in memory of Shri Krishnakumar Thakur, has helped 135 families , both from Mumbai and outside, so far…

JASCAP, a Not for Profit Organization, is blessed to have the support of Corporates and Individuals – who are seriously committed to Jascap’s mission of alleviating the financial burden of cancer patients. The contribution so received is utilized for regular monthly financial assistance programme, dedicated patient support programme of different disease management groups, augmenting home care projects for the department of palliative care etc.
